ENERGY STAR clothes washers use up to 40 percent less energy and 40 percent less water than with a conventional machine. Energy-efficient clothes washers extract more water during the spin cycle, reducing energy use for drying and wear and tear on your clothes so they last longer. Qualifications
- A $50 incentive is available for clothes washers with an Modified Energy Factor (MEF) of 2.0 and above with a Water Factor (WF) of 6.0 and below
- A $75 incentive will be available for clothes washers with an MEF of 2.2 and above and a WF of 4.5 and below
- These levels align with Consortium for Energy Efficiency (CEE) Tiers 2 and 3
- Incentive Application must be received within 90 days of purchase or installation
