ENERGY STAR® qualified room air conditioners use 10 percent less energy than conventional models. Replacing a 10-year old room air conditioner with a new ENERGY STAR qualified
unit saves an average of $14 per year on your electric bill.

  •  Thanks to improved compressors and insulation, they run more quietly
  •  Many people buy an air conditioner that is too large. ENERGY STAR suggests making sure

Room Air Conditioners must be ENERGY STAR qualified

Unit for recycling must be working and be delivered to one of our scheduled recycling events

Qualified customers:
Residential electric customers residing in the state of Utah who purchase their electricity from Rocky Mountain Power on rate schedules 1, 2, 3 or 25 qualify. Landlords who own rental properties served by the company in the state of Utah where the tenant is billed on rate schedules 1, 2, 3 or 25 also qualify for this program.
