Evaporative Coolers

Benefits:
Evaporative coolers cost about half as much to install and operate as central air conditioners and they use only about one-quarter as much energy. They are great in dry, arid climates (but really not suitable for areas with high humidity).

Reasons to install an evaporative cooler:
  • Lower original equipment cost than air conditioners
  • Lower operating costs
  • Simple installation
