When you recycle your old model you help protect the environment by keeping harmful ozone-depleting gases out of our atmosphere. Recycling benefits your wallet too! You’ll earn a $20 cash incentive simply for properly recycling your old unit.

Proposed modifications to the program will eliminate the room air conditioner recycling incentive effective September 1, 2010.
Room air conditioner must be in working order and be delivered to one of our scheduled recycling events from April 1 through August 30. Receipt for the purchase of your new ENERGY STAR qualified unit required. Incentives are limited to one per qualifying household. Please see Incentive Application for additional terms and conditions.
Incentives and qualifications are subject to change with 45 days notice and approval by the Public Service Commission of Utah.
